Banana Cake

You know those brown bananas that you never really know what to do with? Well, I now bring you the answer: a banana cake! Indeed, banana cakes are much better with old, brownish, and very ripe bananas because the taste is a lot stronger and their texture makes the cake softer. Ingredients
1 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
A pinch of salt
1/2 cup of shortening 
1 cup of brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of milk
You may also add:
1/2 cup of raisins or chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat oven at 350°F.
Grease your cake tin with shortening and powder with flour.
In a large bowl, blend the flour, baking soda, salt, and brown sugar with a mixer.
Add the rest of the ingredients and keep blending until smooth.
Add raisins or chocolate chips to your taste, and blend in with a fork.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
